The actual words of The Gospel of St. Mark memorized & performed as a play by actor and priest, Fr. Joseph Morris. A first-century drama of love, betrayal, and newness of life. Great for both children and adults!
2 acts separated by a 30-minute intermission
Admission: free will offering.
Father Joseph first took an interest in the Gospel of St. Mark in graduate school. In his first years as a parish priest, he and 16 performers performed the Gospel as a set of consecutive one-actor performances--in 100 minutes for local churches. After breaking his leg in 2001, Joseph took the recovery time to memorize and stage Mark as a one-actor production. He’s been doing it ever since—on his days off, on holidays, whenever and wherever possible.
